Electro-Voice offers two software design tools to help you quickly create an effective distributed loudspeaker solution.
Design data for Electro-Voice EVID loudspeakers and Bosch public address speakers are pre-loaded in both tools,
which are available as free downloads.
Bosch/Electro-Voice Ceiling Speaker Placement Calculator
The Bosch/Electro-Voice Ceiling Speaker Placement Calculator is a simple Microsoft Excel application that requires only basic information about room dimensions and the quality of coverage needed to produce a basic system design. The calculator will tell you how many speakers you need, where they should be installed, how much wire and cable is needed to connect them, and how large an amplifier is required to drive the system. Even if you don’t have a lot of audio background, you can determine what’s needed for a distributed sound system.
EASE Address was created by acoustical modeling experts Ahnert Feistel Media Group (AFMG), and is based on their industry standard EASE acoustical modeling software. It offers more flexibility and features for users who want to design highly customized distributed systems and accurately predict their actual performance.
