System Snapshot: Electro-Voice enhances sound system in Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo

Ajinomoto Stadium in metropolitan Tokyo is a multi-purpose venue with a capacity of 49,970. Completed in February 2012, the stadium will host the 68th National Sports Festival in 2013 and a variety of other events and competitions.

A superior quality audio system was required to maintain the stadium's strong reputation, and Electro-Voice products fit their requirements perfectly.

The venue is now home to (20) XLD281 line-array loudspeakers (to address the field), (42) TG-5 power amplifiers, (42) RCM-26 DSP/remote modules and (4) UCC-1 USB-CAN interfaces. The seating areas are covered by a distribution of (134) XLE181 compact line-array loudspeakers installed at 26 locations.
