Bosch Communications Systems hosts academy in Guatemala

October 14, 2008

Bosch Communications Systems’ Nicolas Betancur and Juan Montoya worked with distributors Casa Instrumental SA (Guatemala City, Guatemala) on the one-day event, which began with a broad overview of the Bosch Communications Systems family of brands, moving into detailed presentations covering various product lines, markets, and applications.

300 industry professionals were in attendance, representing various markets: House of Worship (40%); Club Sound (15%); MI Retail (15%); Concert Sound (10%); other Fixed Install & Commercial Audio (10%); Students (20%).

“We are very excited to begin this new chapter with our friends at Casa Instrumental”

Casa Instrumental SA, the largest professional audio company in Guatemala, hosted the seminar in their demo room at their main location.

“We are very excited to begin this new chapter with our friends at Casa Instrumental,“ says Nicolas Betancur, Inside Sales Engineer - Latin America, Bosch Communications Systems. “They are true professionals and, in partnership with our family of quality brands, they are more equipped than ever before to fulfill the massive business potential in this region-to show local industry pros what is available to them.

“From a world-wide perspective, Latin America is perhaps the region with the most potential for growth across all the different vertical markets in pro audio,“ Betancur continues, “and Central America couldn’t be a better example. We had a diverse audience full of passion for audio and with a real interest in the technologies behind it. All the equipment was very well received, and our guests provided some great feedback to us. We were glad to be able to provide an overview of all that we can do, and, though we offer a diverse portfolio of brands and products, we successfully communicated the common denominators: (a) all our equipment can be interconnected to create one integrated global audio solution, or used individually to provide a simple but great-sounding audio solution; (b) each and every piece of our equipment provides the top level of performance and quality for its intended use.“
