Bosch Security Systems Announces New Director of Sales, Communications
Bosch Security Systems, Inc. is very pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Shallenberger as its Director of Sales, Communications - South. Sean will report to Daniel Nix, Vice President, Sales - South in his new position, and will be responsible for sales and distribution of Bosch (Public Address and Conferencing), Electro-Voice, RTS and Telex pro audio products in the southern U.S. Based in Arlington, Texas, Sean will manage the independent sales reps, regional account managers and inside sales reps for the region.
Sean brings substantial industry experience to his new position, with a proven track record in musical instrument retail, pro audio distribution and as an independent sales rep. After five years with Jam Music and Sound (Arlington, TX), Sean moved to large regional distributors Professional Audio Supply, where he transitioned from inside sales manager to general manager in just two years. Sean oversaw considerable expansion during his tenure as general manager at PAS, including the opening of MI and lighting divisions which contributed to sales growth from $7M to $16M. From there Sean joined Dallas-area manufacturer’s representatives Marketing Concepts, where he worked with some of the pro audio industry’s top brands for 11 years.
Sean is looking forward to his new appointment with Bosch: “It’s a company that has a tremendous amount of respect within the industry,” he says, “and we’re headed in some very exciting directions in terms of innovative technology and customer-driven, cross-brand system solutions. All our brands are very well respected in their own right, and to have them work together is a powerful thing.”
Sean adds: “I was thrilled to join the company for another good reason: to join forces with some of the industry’s best, most knowledgeable people. Over the years I’ve got to know pros like Paul Carelli, Harry Klane, Johnson Knowles, Dan Nix and Michael Tremain, and to be working alongside that level of talent under the Bosch banner is a great thing.”
