Andreas Köstlinger appointed Technical Support Mobile Audio EMEA at EVI Audio

June 10th, 2011

As of May 1, 2011, Andreas Köstlinger has assumed the position of Technical Support – Mobile Audio EMEA with EVI Audio GmbH. In his new position, Köstlinger will be the contact partner for tech support solutions as well as training opportunities. "In the course of my many years working in the live sector, I became intimately acquainted with – and quickly learnt to appreciate -- the reliability and quality of products from EVI Audio," says Köstlinger. "As Technical Support Manager, it is important that I not only know the products inside-out but that I am also able to identify myself with them. And when it comes to the high quality of EVI Audio products, I can assure you that I’m utterly convinced!"

Since graduating in electrical engineering, Andreas Köstlinger (36) was involved initially in the planning, marketing, and service of audiovisual and pro audio equipment before striking out on his own as a freelance sound, audiovisual, front-of-house, and system engineer. For nine years, he provided the sound reinforcement for countless tours and corporate events. More recently, he worked with a firm of consultant engineers specializing in environmental protection, where his responsibilities included the measurement of emissions, the compiling of reports on such measurements, the development of digital models for emissions forecasts, and the provision of expert testimony and advice on questions relating to sound technology.

"Andreas Köstlinger knows first hand the challenges faced by mobile audio productions," says Robert Hesse, Vice President Sales Communication EMEA with Bosch Security Systems and Managing Director of EVI Audio GmbH. "We are therefore delighted to have secured the services of such a highly qualified specialist for our technical support team."
