KLAUS HEITZENRA–DER BOOSTS EV AND BLUE

On the 1st August, the EVI Audio team was strengthened by the arrival of Klaus Heitzenröder. A graduate in musicology from the Frankfurt area, Klaus has been appointed Sales Manager (EAME) for Electro-Voice and Blue microphones.

The 43-year-old Hessian is familiar with all facets of the music business: as a musician, he played with various groups including Camouflage (hit: “Great Commandment’); as a product manager, he looked after the careers of Nena, Scooter and Aaron Carter; and as a label manager, he came face to face with the nitty-gritty of day to day management.

Klaus knows microphones inside out as well, having worked in recent years as a product manager with an established microphone manufacturer, as well as helping to establish a flight case business.

Now he is putting his energy and experience at the disposition of EVI Audio, a task he views with some relish: “I want to make our products even more successful in Europe, Africa and the Middle East,“ he told us. “And I’m confident I can do it, because Electro-Voice and Blue are at the cutting edge of microphone technology and built to the very highest professional standards. Their market potential, therefore, is enormous.“
