EV audio enhances Olive Bar & Kitchen, Mumbai

The Olive Bar & Kitchen in Mumbai has become a local landmark, a place where the city’s happy people congregate to dine well, to dip into an outstanding wine cellar, and to linger over laughter and conversation.

Just like the city, Olive is a bit of a chameleon. The place explodes with music and high spirits at its signature TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) bar nights, but visit for Sunday brunch and it’s lazy laughter in a sunlit courtyard, where no one will hurry you from your table…

To ensure high quality audio for its 150-capacity bar area, restaurant/ lounge, and outdoor seating area, Olive features a range of Electro-Voice products to precisely address each section.

A pair of ZX5-90W loudspeakers have the bar area covered, combining incredible sonic performance, application flexibility, and streamlined aesthetics. These main loudspeakers are supported by a pair of QRx118S subwoofers. Six weatherproofed ZX1i-100 compact loudspeakers provide background music in the indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Amplifiers from the CPS  (Contractor Precision Series) – including two CPS2.12, one CPS2.9-230V, and one CPS2.6-II-230V – power the loudspeakers, while a DC-One handles DSP duties. All in all a system that provides exceptional value as well as excellent sonic performance.
