System Snapshot: Club Glazz, Queens, NY

Located in Queens, New York, Club Glazz is a three-level, 16,000-square-foot venue equipped with a range of sound reinforcement products from Electro-Voice – provided and operated by Gabriel Sound and Ralph Castro from Ralph Castro Audio & Entertainment.

Club Glazz opened to the public on June 28, 2012 with an astonishing turnout of 2,600 people, and has since been named “the hottest nightclub in Queens.”

The EV systems at Club Glazz include (4) self-powered ZXA1-Sub and (8) XLC127 line-array enclosures for the main dance floor, while the outer zones are equipped with (10) EVF-1152D/96 loudspeakers, (4) QRx-118S subwoofers and (2) ZXA1-Subs. The bathrooms in the club feature (16) 8” EVID ceiling speakers. The DJ booth is also equipped with powered EV loudspeakers.  All the sound in the club is managed via (14) P3000RL power amps.
