YELLOWJACKETS FLY HIGH IN ZAGREB WITH EV, DYNACORD AND KLARK TEKNIK
The team led by Mr. Pink’s MD, Zoran Hügl, employed a mixture of EV, Dynacord and Klark Teknik components, the centrepiece of which was a Dynacord Cobra-2 rig (see equipment list below). “After the show,“ Zoran reported, “we were effusively congratulated on the quality of the monitor and PA sound, both by the musicians and by their sound engineer, which was especially gratifying given that the Yellowjackets, in the course of their long career, have played in all the top venues - from the Montreux Jazz Festival to the finest jazz clubs in the world.“
The group, which comprises bass player Jimmy Haslip, saxophonist Bob Mintzer, keyboard player Russell Ferrante and new drummer Marcus Baylor, emerged in 1977 in the course of sessions for a Robben Ford album. Since then it has released over 20 albums, which have won both critical and popular acclaim as well as numerous awards.
