EV QRx OPENS DOOR TO SUPERIOR SOUND AT OHIO CHURCH

Hundreds of QRx boxes have found homes in Houses of Worship across the USA, being a budget-friendly solution with which a contractor can exceed a contemporary congregation’s expectations for high quality audio. One such house of Worship is the Open Door Baptist Church, a small, newly constructed church in Canton, Ohio.

WES Sound and Systems Integrators of Massillon, Ohio selected a pair of two-way EV QRx115/75 as the main speakers in this installation and are very pleased with the results. WES Sound’s Church Sales specialist John Davidson offered some thoughts on why QRx works for the House of Worship:

“Times have changed in this market; rather than settling for consumer-grade audio arbitrarily installed by amateurs, even the smallest church will now look to the pro’s for detail-oriented service before, during and after the sale of the actual hardware. Part of our job is to help our clients fully understand how important that step up to professional grade audio is: at Open Door Baptist, even though we weren’t looking at a huge system, we still prepared an EASE room model to both confirm QRx as the right speakers for the job and ensure their optimal performance.“

Davidson added: “The QRx also works well for us because it comes equipped with top and bottom L-track points for a wide range of rigging scenarios, and features a rotateable horn for controlled HF coverage, allowing it to perform properly wherever it ends up being flown, which, in this case, is close to the ceiling. Aesthetics are also a main concern - especially in new builds like the Open Door Baptist - and QRx has a nice shape and comes in white. We’ve used QRx many times before, and have already used them again at another Ohio church. They’re simply great loudspeakers, whichever way you look at - or listen to - them.“
