SYDNEY’S SONIC FACTORY ROCKS WITH EV & MIDAS

The Sonic Factory’s management worked with Revolver Audio during the design and installation phase. After evaluating a number of systems, Electro-Voice and Midas gear was chosen. “The decision was made to go with EV because they were the highest quality at an affordable price,“ stated Frank Colaiacolo, Development Manager for The Sonic Factory.

Each rehearsal room contains a Midas Venice mixing console and Electro-Voice powered speakers. The large rehearsal room has a Midas Venice 320 mixing console with a minimum of 7 and maximum of 9 Electro-Voice SxA250 powered speakers. The other 4 rooms have a Midas Venice 160 mixing console and 4 SxA250 powered speakers.

“We are totally happy with the outcome,“ Colaiacolo added. “The Midas desk is absolutely the best in its range. The EV powered wedges have good projection and clear tonal clarity - they are nice sounding units and we’re extremely happy with them.“
