EV ZX5 SOLVES SOUND PROBLEMS AT OHIO CHURCH
Two ZX5 boxes (in white) replaced an inefficient central cluster - a remnant of the mid-80s that was sending a confusion of HF into the room from three point sources. The ZX5’s combination of highest quality components, precise pattern control and aesthetic style were ideal for the job, as WES Sound’s John Davidson reported:
“We were contracted to provide a solution for long-standing intelligibility issues at FallsCreek. The church has a full program of contemporary services with bands and praise teams, and their old PA was not up to the job. We determined that rest of the sound reinforcement equipment at FallsCreek was fine, and that their budget would be most effectively spent on some high quality, properly installed loudspeakers. Jason Jacquemain (of EV reps CL Pugh) did an EASE model of the sanctuary and found the ZX5’s dispersion pattern to be ideal for their room layout. Things sound fantastic in there now - it’s like a new room. And, as it turned out, simply replacing the old cluster with the new EVs brought a new lease of life to the rest of their PA equipment, as well as the sanctuary.“
