Electro-Voice Participates in North American Sales Meeting - Tucson, Arizona

November 22nd, 2006

From October 30 - November 2, Telex held their first annual North American Sales Meeting as part of the Bosch Group. This year’s meeting site proved a warm and scenic backdrop to four days of product training, sales discussions, guest speakers, and unique recreation. The excitement was palpable as Bosch and Telex staff discussed the recent merger and plans for 2007 with attending manufacturer representatives.

The meeting also covered recent product offerings, including the Midas XL8 digital console, Klark Teknik Square One graphics and dynamics processing, Electro-Voice power amplifiers/loudspeakers, and Dynacord loudspeaker systems.

Keynote speakers included Chuck Wilson, President of the NSCA (National Systems Contractors Association), music industry market expert Marek Stycos, Guitar Center/Pro Audio, and Westover Church technical staff.

Telex was also pleased to announce the winners for their Rep of the Year Awards, amongst other notable achievements and accolades. USA Reps of the Year Tremain Marketing also presented their own awards to Electro-Voice strategic projects specialist and industry legend Jim Long and Western Regional Sales Manager Michael Linden for their help with key business accounts, including the Gretchen Wilson and Kenny Chesney Tours of 2006. Top honors were also given to the designers, installers, and technical staff of the recent synergetic installation of a full complement of Bosch ST and Telex brands (Electro-Voice (EV), Dynacord, Midas, Klark Teknik, Telex, RTS) at Westover Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. Present were Donnie Haulk and Tim Owens of Audio Ethics, Jeff Neubauer of Westover, and Craig Bess of Vision 2 Marketing to accept the award. Westover technical director Danny Slaughter was unavailable to attend the meeting but gave a wonderful testimonial via pre-recorded video interview.
