Sound Art Deploys Electro-Voice Systems for International Jazz Conference

“IAJE is the biggest annual jazz event in the world,“ says Dave Alderdice, General Manager, Sound Art Toronto, “ and features over 100 concerts over four days, performed on stages of various sizes in four of Toronto’s most prestigious venues-the Fairmont Royal York, the Toronto Sheraton and Intercontinental hotels, and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

“Obviously the audio expectations of the organizers, artists, and audiences are extremely high, and we specified various EV main and monitor loudspeaker systems to ensure each space sounded its best. The audience response to the audio quality was excellent, and we received plenty of positive feedback from various event engineers who enjoyed working with the warm and musical sound of the EV speakers, along with the familiar feel and performance of the Midas consoles and Klark Teknik processing.“
