Electro-Voice House of Worship success stories with Elite Multimedia

June 6th, 2008

Poplar Corner Baptist Church - Brownsville, TN

“We worked with Poplar Corner Baptist Church to upgrade their sound system and add a lighting and projection system as part of general renovations to their existing sanctuary. After taking inventory of their existing audio equipment, Elite specified an Electro-Voice sound system built around FRi-2082 speakers and FRi181 subs. Their live performances are sounding better than ever with Eliminator stage monitors and a range of EV choir microphones.“

First United Methodist - Jonesboro, AR

“This church’s new contemporary style worship service so grew rapidly they had to find a new space in which to meet, and fast. Having decided to transform their gym into a dual-purpose room, the church contracted Elite Multimedia to install a slamming sound system to support their modern worship style. After running special speaker analysis software on a 3D model of the room, it was determined the Electro-Voice Xi series speakers and QRx series subwoofers were right for the job. Driven by a Midas Verona console for the main sound board and EV-powered (CPS series amps) and processed (Dx38), this gym has quickly become a top-of-the-line concert hall.“

Oak Grove MB Church - Memphis, TN

“Located in Memphis, TN and lead by Pastor Donald Johnson, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, and weren’t about to make any mistakes when it came to selecting the right contractor to design and install an audio visual system for their new sanctuary. After several meetings, and walking away from a deposit given to another AV contractor, they chose Elite Multimedia as the company they knew would give them the best value and that understood their specific needs. We designed a state-of-the-art Electro-Voice sound system around the church’s high energy black gospel music style, featuring an XLE stereo line array system with subs, powered by CPS series amplifiers and processed by Dx38, and featuring ZX-series under-balcony fill speakers and Eliminator stage monitors.“

Ashland Avenue Baptist Church - Ashland, KY

“Ashland Baptist Church sold their existing church in 2005 and was in a set up/tear down environment for two years while their new campus was under construction. We provided them with a portable Electro-Voice sound system in 2005, and integrated that equipment into the new installed system completed in March, 2008. The church wanted a sound system to support their contemporary style of worship, so Elite chose Electro-Voice Xi series concert loudspeaker systems for the job, through which top contemporary Christian vocal group Selah performed just two weeks after the opening service. The system is EV-powered (CPS amplifiers) and processed (Dx38), and also features ZX series stage monitors and EVID ceiling speakers/MA series amplifiers for distributed audio throughout the hallways.“
