EV SOUND FOR TV “NASHVILLE STAR” JODY EVANS
Over 1000 people attended this year’s Gurdon Forest Festival (Gurdon, Arkansas) for a free concert by “Nashville Star” TV show finalist Jody Evans. S&S Music (Arkadelphia, AR) provided the production for the event. "I was a little worried because we had a very short sound check,” says Stephen Gent, S&S owner and FOH engineer. “But when the show started I was able to get everything dialed in by the middle of the second song. The EV mics, monitors and the Cobra sounded great right off the bat. This also shows the beauty of the Verona. It’s like the console was custom-made for every event it mixes! Gurdon is a very small town and everyone's jaws dropped the minute the show started. One audience member told us they’d ‘never heard anything like this before!’ That was exactly what we wanted to hear!”
