A recent installation at Wyandotte High School (Wyandotte, OK), shows how input-to-output EV sound can bring a new lease of life to a school gymnasium, as Kendall Self, Operations Manager, Ace Sound, describes:
“Last year we installed EV Sx300 loudspeakers in the school football stadium. They love the way it sounds, so we spec’d them again for the gym. Three Sx300s per side cover the gym bleachers during games; when the room is set up with seating for graduation ceremonies, etc., two additional Sx300s can be switched on, firing directly down over the main floor for additional coverage. The system is powered by P900RL amplifiers; two Telex FMR-500HD wireless units with EV N/D767a handheld mics handle the input end of the signal chain. The system offers great intelligibility and has plenty of headroom, making it versatile for all kinds of sound reinforcement duties. It’s a simple, high quality solution that will serve the school well for years to come.”
