Rockabilly Legend Rosie Flores Tours Globe with EV

Rosie Flores Chooses EV MicsRosie Flores, rockabilly and roots music legend, is currently touring, performing, writing, and recording her unique style of Americana music. She has been known to perform alongside such musical legends as Jimmie Dale Gilmore (Flatlanders), Doug Sahm, and Elvin Bishop.

Whether on the road or in the studio, Rosie's first choice are EV microphones. No stranger to the South by Southwest Festival, Rosie is often seen in her new home town of Austin singing through an Electro-Voice N/D767a or Cardinal microphone! Thanks for your support Rosie!

About the Artist: Official Bio

Rosie is currently living in Austin, Texas and has been busy writing her non-fiction book, Wacky Truckstop Candy and Road Stories which will be published in 2008. She will begin working on a brand new CD of guitar driven originals this winter. Rosie along with Bobby Trimble (Flyrite Boy Extraordinaire) recently co-produced a CD of brand new recordings by the late rockabilly legend, Janis Martin. The CD was recorded in Blanco, TX in May of 2007. The songs were collectively chosen by Janis along with her co-producers Rosie and Bobby. Fortunately, the recording was completed before Janis' untimely passing on September 3rd. She was as fervent and raucous as ever when she recorded these songs and most importantly, she did them her way. Rosie and Bobby are currently shopping for the perfect label home for Janis' last recordings. To check out a couple of tracks, please visit Janis Martin on MySpace. Rosie has also just finished an 11 song CD with her friend and musical partner Katy Moffatt. It was produced by songwriter Wendy Waldman in her Los Angeles, CA studio. But wait! There's more: Rosie is heading to Japan on Monday for 3 weeks and then leaves for Europe to play for her fans in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Spain.
