Effective immediately, Venuetech LLC becomes an Electro-Voice distributor for the U.A.E. In parallel, the existing partner, NMK Electronics Ent., will continue to market the products until mid of April 2010. This change doesn't affect the distribution of Electro-Voice microphones, which stays with AVL Electronics.

Considered one of the world’s finest cricket stadiums by the U.K.’s Architects' Journal magazine, the 70,000-seat DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, India recently upgraded its sound system with 112 Electro-Voice EVA line array loudspeaker modules. The world’s first stadium installation of EVA, the system also represents the largest EV installation ever completed in India.

Bosch Security Systems, Inc., Communications Systems Division is delighted to present Jess Ashby with the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) Education Foundation Robert Bosch Scholarship. A native of northern Virginia, Ashby, 22, will receive a $2,500 scholarship, which is dedicated to the memory of Robert Bosch and awarded to students entering the commercial electronics systems industry.

Austin City Limits Music Festival, one of the premier music festivals in the U.S., recently capped-off another fantastic year of musical festivities. Held from October 3rd to the 5th, 130 bands gathered in the Texan capital to treat music fans to three full days of performances across eight stages. Robert Ausmus of LD Systems (Houston, TX) and his crew relied on an Electro-Voice X-Line line array loudspeaker system to provide exceptional sound reinforcement for the Xbox 360 stage.
