Electro-Voice, GravelRoad drive Freedom Celebration in Cleveland, Tenn.
GravelRoad Entertainment, LLC. (Cleveland, Tenn.) provided Electro-Voice sound reinforcement for the 11th annual Mount Olive Freedom Celebration, held on June 29 at the Tri-State Exhibition Center in Cleveland, Tenn. This is GravelRoad’s fourth consecutive year providing sound for the event.
The Freedom Celebration is held on the final Sunday before the 4th of July, and features performances by national Christian musicians, local artists, choirs, and an end-of-the-night fireworks display. The festival has been a staple at Mount Olive Church in Cleveland since 1996, and typically draws crowds of nearly 10,000.
This year, GravelRoad used an Electro-Voice XLC 127DVX line array loudspeaker system for performances by Mercy’s Bridge, Gina Bean, and other local musicians. The EV equipment list included 16 (eight per side) XLC 127DVX loudspeakers and four ground-stacked Xsubs.
