TL Series
TL Series low-frequency systems offer a variety of low-frequency solution for general fixed installation or low-frequency supplementation in existing installations. Low-frequency systems have f3s as low as 40 Hz. Response below 30 Hz is generally required for theatrical effects, reproduction of pipe organs, and some special effects in contemporary music, such as synthesizers and down-tuned bass guitars. The TL 880D is specially suited for this special type of application.
The TL440 18-inch subwoofer is essentially one half of a TL880D, and is perfect for high-impact bass in smaller digital rooms. The TL440 features a steel grille for extra protection from theft and damage.
The TL550D is a dual, 15-inch subwoofer designed for cinema stage use (behind the screen). Two EV X-155 subwoofers provide high peak and long-term output that complements the dynamic potential of digital sound.
The TL880D dual, 18-inch subwoofer is designed to meet the low-frequency demands of digital cinema sound. The TL880D features two EV X-180A woofers to provide power-handling capacity down to 20 Hz. An optional steel grille is available for protection against theft and damage.
