Variplex Cinema Speaker System
The Electro-Voice Variplex Matinee is designed to provide perfect coverage, wide bandwidth, and extended dynamic range in today’s Cinemas. It uses second-generation asymmetric directed coverage to uniformly cover every seat in stadium or traditional theaters. This design greatly reduces energy wasted by focusing it on the audience, not walls and ceiling where it can be reflected to degrade clarity.

TL440M
The Electro-Voice TL440M subwoofer is part of the EV Matinee series of loudspeakers for cinema. The direct-radiating design provides excellent very- low-frequency reproduction along with the percussiveness desired for many effects so prevalent in today’s digital soundtracks. The TL440M uses the EV18-S 18-in (381-mm) woofer in a directradiating, Thiele-Small vented enclosure, providing high efficiency and low distortion. The TL440M has a 27HZ low-frequency cutoff point for rich, deep, very-low-frequency reproduction.

The Electro-Voice TL880DM subwoofer is part of the EV Matinee series of loudspeakers for cinema.
