PWS-4, PWS-6 and PWS-C
The Programmable Wall Stations (PWS) are modular wall-mount controls for Electro-Voice NetMax systems. Typical applications are volume control, source selection, preset selection and room combining.
The PWS-4 and PWS-6 interface units install in standard electrical gang boxes. A PWS-C CAN coupler is required to use PWS-4 and PWS-6 modules. The PWS-C connects to the CAN bus on the NetMax N8000. Parallel connectors on the PWS-C allow easy daisy chaining of multiple units at different locations.
The PWS4/6 modules provide simple, programmable control of a NetMax system and all DSP parameters. Buttons can be configured as momentary, latching or radio groups and all have status LEDs to indicate current state.
PWS-4
The PWS-4 panel provides four programmable buttons that can be freely configured via IRIS-Net for parameters such as source selection, mute, preset recall and a variety of other functions. The PWS-4 also provides two up/down buttons that can be used for variable parameters, such as level or gain control.
PWS-6
The PWS-6 panel provides six programmable buttons that can be freely configured via IRIS-Net for parameters such as source selection, mute, preset recall and a variety of other functions.
PWS-C
The PWS-C is the backplane interface between the PWS-4/6 panels and the NetMax N8000 CAN bus and an external power supply. It features parallel connections for easy daisy-chaining of multiple PWS-Cs in different locations. Each PWS-C can support any combination of up to three PWS-4/6 panels at a single location via the included ribbon cable. Each PWS-4/6 location requires a PWS-C.
