UCC1 USB-CAN Converter

The UCC1 USB-CAN Converter is a bi-directional USB-to-CAN interface for connecting PC or Notebook computers to Electro-Voice devices, such as the DSP Precision Series Amplifiers, RCM-26 module for Tour Grade Series Amplifiers, and REV Wireless Microphone receivers, with CAN interfaces.

The UCC1 is a standalone unit with interface drivers for CAN and USB, audio monitoring output for amplifier channels, USB and CAN controllers for converting commands, and data between PC and CAN-bus units. The isolated CAN-bus interface reduces ground-loop interference to an absolute minimum. The UCC1 receives its operational power via USB from the connected PC, so that no external power supply unit is needed.

The compact UCC1 adapter is designed for connection to a laptop or notebook computer. However, the supplied 19-inch front panel allows trouble-free integration into a rack system.

Up to five UCC1s can be used on a single network to create multiple monitoring and control positions.

TG5
Tour Grade amplifiers have a microprocessor controlled operation management system that provides useful features like compound thermal management (preventing amps from switching off in excessive thermal environment) and automatic mains voltage detection. Tour Grade amplifiers use grounded bridge, two-step, class-H topology to ensure the highest acoustic performance and reliability. The TG Series also offers power and transient response to drive subwoofers, along with low distortion for critical HF signals. The high-capacity switchmode power supply provides the headroom needed to ensure high dynamic outputs and reliable operation on extreme low loads.
TG7
Tour Grade amplifiers have a microprocessor controlled operation management system that provides useful features such as compound thermal management (preventing amps from switching off in excessive thermal environment), automatic mains voltage detection, and circuit breaker control that allows the TG-7 to operate on a 30A (120-volt) or 16A (230-volt) circuit breaker with normal music signal. Tour Grade amplifiers use a grounded bridge, three-step, class-H topology to ensure the highest acoustic performance and reliability. The TG Series also offers the power and transient response to drive subwoofers along with low distortion for critical HF signals. The high-capacity switchmode power supply provides the headroom needed to ensure high dynamic outputs and reliable operation on extreme low loads.

RCM-26
The RCM-26 remote control module adds an extensive suite of state-of-the-art DSP, as well as the most advanced supervision and monitoring system available.A full compliment of IIR filters, signal routing, level control, compression and limiting are provided, as well as linear phase FIR filters and zero-latency FIR filters to provide the utlimate in loudspeaker optimization. Multiple presets can be stored and loaded, and all parameters are fully adjustable offline or online in real-time.Through the IRIS-Net interface, a complete set of monitoring and supervision features are at your fingertips, including VU metering, power consumption, temperature, amplifier status, load monitoring, and status. IRIS-Net also provides EV's unique one-button system check, allowing operators to monitor the state and status of all amplifiers and loudspeakers in a matter of seconds with a single click of a button. The RCM-26 also offers an AES3 (AES/EBU) input, which allows two channels of digital audio to be fed directly into the amplifier without the need for additional A/D conversion. A loop-through connector is also provided for the cascading of multiple devices. The RCM-26 and Tour Grade Series of amplifiers set a new standard for power, processing, and control in the most demanding applications.
RCM-810 Card
The RCM-810 Remote Control Module is an optional module for supervision and remote control of power amplifiers. RCM-810 modules allow the amplifiers to be integrated into a remote control network with up to 100 devices. Up to 250 amplifiers can be used in an IRIS-Net project when multiple networks are used. Apart from the network port, the RCM-810 also offers freely programmable control inputs and control outputs. The RCM-810 modules allows IRIS-Net to configure, control and monitor a complete PA-system from a single or from several PCs. Any operational statuses such as power-on, temperature, activation of protections, deviation of the output impedance, etc., are centrally recorded and displayed, which offers the opportunity to react and correct the problem even before the occurrence of critical operational states. All parameters, such as power-on/off, mute etc. are controlled in real-time and can be stored in any power amplifier. Monitoring the connected loudspeaker systems is performed by continuously measuring output currents and voltages of individual power amplifier channels. Each exceeding or falling short of set thresholds is instantly signaled and logged. In this way,short-circuits or line interruptions, as they might occur during normal operation, are recognized and displayed immediately.Furthermore, the RCM-810 provides a control port with freely programmable control inputs and control outputs. Control inputs (GPI's) allow the connection of switches. IRIS-Net offers the possibility to program a variety of logic functions for the inputs. Control outputs (GPO's) allow the connection of external components, which, for example, are used to signal specific states to peripheral equipment. Additionally, the RCM-810 allows access to and configuration of the VLD (Variable Load Drive) feature in the multichannel CPS4.5, CPS4.10 and CPS8.5 amplifiers, which allow the user to tailor the amplifier’soutput power to match every load from 2 Ohms up to 10 Ohms insteps of 0.1 Ohms.
