The VCS-8 is an 8-zone paging and control station for the VZX-8 Zone Audio Processor, with a high-quality gooseneck microphone, 9 freely programmable buttons, and a large push-to-talk button. The programmable buttons can select individual zones or all zones for paging, or trigger system actions such as level adjustments, message playback, mute functions, GPIO control, and more. The push-to-talk button initiates the page and can also trigger additional actions at the same time, such as muting selected inputs or sending a GPIO command. Advanced paging management—including configurable priorities, mutual exclusion, busy indication, selectable chimes, and support for up to four simultaneous pages to different zones—helps keep communication organized across larger systems. The VCS-8 receives power and communication from the VZX-8 accessory bus over RJ45, supports daisy-chaining of up to 8 call stations, and features illuminated status indicators and a durable cast-aluminum base for stable daily operation.
