EVF-15 G2
The G2 generation rebuilds the Electro-Voice point-source install range from the inside out. New in-house EV transducers, low-loss crossovers, and EV's highest-performance HF horns sit in the same footprint as the first generation, while new low-latency FIR presets deliver flat phase response with under 10 ms of system latency. The updated grille withstands high SPL even when wet, the enclosure is fully front-serviceable, and a single-step polyurea finish keeps white cabinets UV-stable outdoors.
The EVF-15 G2 steps up to a front-loaded 15-inch design that reaches 40 Hz (−10 dB) — full-range mains for mid-size rooms without adding subwoofers. Four coverage patterns (60°×40°, 60°×60°, 90°×50°, 90°×90°) carry 117 dB linear and up to 136 dB peak output (AES75) from 400 W continuous power handling, at 38 kg per cabinet.
What the EVF-15 G2 brings
Built for the room
At 7th Street Entry, a historic club got a system built for the room: EVF G2 loudspeakers driven by Dynacord iX amplifiers. The smaller G2 footprint cleaned up sightlines, and the new coverage patterns gave engineers more consistent sound across the floor.
Frequency response (−3 dB): 50 Hz – 18 kHz · range (−10 dB): 40 Hz – 20 kHz

Power handling: 400 W continuous / 800 W program
Coverage patterns: 60°×40° · 60°×60° · 90°×50° · 90°×90°
Weight: 38 kg · RAL9005 black / RAL9003 white · IP55 weatherized versions
